Chennai – Murderers of Realtor Arrested

On March 27, a functionary of the DMDK was murdered by a group of six men. The 45-year-old realtor and deputy secretary of the state engineering wing of DMDK was attacked on Thursday morning by a group of six men who came at him riding on three bikes. The attack took place near the Kumaran Nagar Tasmac shop in Padi.

A 60-year-old woman, Latha was the prime suspect of the murder was arrested by the police. Four among the six attackers surrendered for the murder of S Pandian. Vinoth, son of Lalitha also surrendered at the Egmore court in Thirukazhukundram on Friday along with Gautham, Narasimhan and Prashanth.

Pandian was murdered by Vinoth and the group on Wednesday morning while he was returning home from his son’s school. According to the police, Latha was kept informed by the attackers about every move of Pandian on the day of the attack. The realtor had not paid Latha the sum of 35 lakh for the sale of a property that was owned by her.
