CHENNAI: Chennai-based ChuChu TV, a popular kids YouTube channel, has hit 50 million subscribers for its flagship YouTube channel.
ChuChu TV Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs became the 25th Youtube channel among 37 million YouTube channels worldwide.
The channel has another feather in its cap of having 33 billion views, making it one of the most watched YouTube channels, worldwide, since its inception in 2013.
Sharing some performance stats, the company said its ChuChu TV Phonics song which has crossed 4 billion views, making it the most watched video across genres in India.
In addition, it houses six videos which have crossed the 1 billion views mark, 8 videos which have crossed 500 million views and 40 videos which have 100 million views.

The ChuChu TV network of 12 YouTube channels spanning languages of English, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Bengali, Spanish, Portuguese and French languages has a consolidated views of 47 billion views and 91 million subscribers worldwide.
In line with popular business models followed by most YouTube creators, ChuChu Tv is also working with Dream Theatre, a brand management company, for its global merchandise programme.
