New MTC Bus Conductor Instructions Bring Potential Relief to Chennai Passengers!

Hereafter, the MTC bus passengers need not worry about carrying the exact change amount for the bus tickets during their travel in the MTC buses.

The news is that MTC or metropolitan transport corporation has instructed the conductors not to insist on the exact change amount for purchasing the bus tickets. The MTC has also instructed the conductors not to get into any argument with the passengers regarding providing change for the tickets.

It was pointed out by the MD of MTC that the bus conductors must return the correct change to the passengers along with the ticket. This was mentioned in the circular.

It is known that the conductors of the MTC buses have been given impress amount at the bus depots. The MTC has asked the conductors to make use of this amount and avoid arguments with the passengers.  The bus conductors have been asked to be kind with the passengers during their travel. It must be noted that if any complaint were received from the passengers regarding the conductor`s behaviour then strict disciplinary action would be taken.
