Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Buds 5 wireless earbuds in India, offering an affordable option with impressive features. Priced at less than Rs 3,000, these True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds from Xiaomi boast 12.4mm dynamic drivers, hybrid noise cancellation, and a remarkable battery life of up to 38 hours, supported by fast charging.
The Redmi Buds 5 earbuds are equipped with 46dB “hybrid noise cancellation,” a feature Xiaomi claims can effectively block 99.5 percent of background noise. The incorporation of 12.4mm dynamic titanium drivers ensures exceptional sound quality across all frequencies. Xiaomi has also included a dual-microphone setup and AI voice enhancement for unparalleled call quality, even in challenging conditions such as windy environments.
These earbuds offer compatibility with the Xiaomi Earbuds App, introducing three transparency modes and the flexibility to choose between deep, balanced, and light noise cancellation. The app also provides customization options for audio settings, including standard, enhanced treble, enhanced bass, and enhanced voice audio. Additional features such as dual-device pairing and a ‘find your earphones’ function enhance the overall user experience.

The Redmi Buds 5 earbuds are priced at Rs 2,999 and will be available for purchase starting February 20 through Mi.com, Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Homes, and Xiaomi retail partners. As a limited-time offer, customers can avail a special discounted price of Rs 2,499 (Rs 500 discount) when purchasing the Redmi Note 13 series or a Xiaomi and Redmi Pad along with the earbuds.
