Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Leo’ is inching towards Rs 600 crore worldwide. As the phenomenal theatrical run continues, the makers of the film organised a success meet at the Nehru Indoor Stadium on November 1 in Chennai. Hours before the event, Vijay’s fans, who gathered at the venue, gave us a glimpse of the electrifying atmosphere. In just 12 days, the action-thriller crossed Rs 541 crore worldwide, according to the production house.
Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ released in theatres on October 19 in multiple languages. Though the film received mixed reviews, it still continues to do exceptional business at the box office.
Following the success of ‘Leo’, the makers arranged a special sucess meet today, November 1, at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. The cast and crew including Thalapathy Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, among others, will be in attendance. The entire stadium is all set to celebrate ‘Leo’ and Thalapathy Vijay.
The crowd has been going crazy with ‘Leo’ chants even before the event could begin.
Co-writers Deeraj Vaidy and Rathnakumar arrived at the event and shared a selfie.
Mansoor Ali Khan, who played the role of Hridayaraj in ‘Leo’ arrived at the event. He was welcomed with cheers and whistles.
‘Leo’ marks the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after ‘Master’. This film has screenplay written by Lokesh, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy. The action entertainer boasts an ensemble cast including Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy and Gautham Menon in pivotal roles. Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and several others were seen in supporting roles.
