Former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Granted Anticipatory Bail in 3 Cases

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu received anticipatory bail in three cases, a relief provided by the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The cases involve the Inner Ring Road (IRR), excise policy, and sand mining.

Earlier, in November last year, the high court had granted bail to Naidu in the skill development scam case. He had been previously arrested by the state CID in connection to the skill development case on September 9.

During his custody from September 10 to October 31 in Rajahmundry Central Jail, Naidu faced allegations of misappropriating funds from the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), causing a purported loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state government.

Naidu refutes any wrongdoing, attributing the cases against him to political vendetta.
